Industrial Cooling Solutions Awarded in Malaysia

Industrial Cooling Solutions (ICS) has been awarded a contract to build a million dollar 28-cell RAPID Steam Cracker Complex Project in Johar, Malaysia.

The contract was awarded by Japan-based TOYO Engineering Corp (TEC) and its consortium partner, Thailand-based TTCL Public Co. (TTCL). The cracker complexis a part of the massive US$16 bln RAPID petrochemical complex being build by the Malaysiam state-owned energy company Petronas. The concrete, back-to-back counter flow cooling tower will play a critical role in the development of the state-of-the-art RAPID refinery by reducing power use while maintaining optimum plant efficiency for maxiumum production output.
